• Lots closest to the stadium sell out first and typically cost more than lots farther out.
• Remote lots mean a longer walk or a shuttle, which adds real time on both ends of the event.
• Prepaid parking is worth booking in advance for any high-demand event, since day-of availability in the closer lots can't be guaranteed.
• Tailgating has its own designated areas, and arriving early enough to get a good tailgate spot means arriving early enough to deal with the worst of the pre-game parking crunch too.

Traffic Patterns to Expect

Pre-game traffic backs up on the main approach roads in the hour or so before kickoff, worse for weekend and prime-time games. It's manageable if you build in extra time.

The exit is a different story. With around 65,000 people leaving at once, the lots and surrounding roads stay backed up well after the final whistle, often 30 to 60 minutes or more before traffic genuinely clears, longer for a sellout crowd or a game that goes to overtime.

What Rideshare Actually Looks Like Post-Event

Rideshare pricing during peak post-event demand is well documented across every major stadium in the country, not just this one. When tens of thousands of people request a ride within the same 20-minute window, surge pricing kicks in, and wait times stretch as the app tries to match far more requests than available cars nearby. Designated rideshare pickup zones also get congested fast, which means walking further than expected just to reach your actual pickup point.
